I'd like to be able to declare global variables, that can be used in more than one nodes. Currently, all variable names are changed (which I understand is good to prevent clashes), but this stop me defining a global variable, which is then accessed in multiple nodes.

For example, I need to declare a gms_modem variable that points to a GSM class. I would like to be able to use this class in various nodes.

That seems pretty reasonable, I'll add it to the list.

My original intent was that you would have a "settings" agent where you could drag agents on to and connect one settings node to multiple agents that need it, but as there is currently no "object" input/output type that wouldn't help what you are trying to do.
