Has Embrio considered outsourcing custom nodes on the likes of upwork et al? They are full of capable programmers who aren't expensive. Embrio development is clearly a one-man operation without time to fulfil most requests, while they are usually pretty pedestrian arduino tasks. Putting it out there seems like a good option.
Maybe we could vote/pay for features?

That's an interesting idea, I'll think about it. A public feature request that can be voted on could be cool and not too hard to put together.
