I'm receiving the error:

unrecognized argument in option '-mmcu={build.mcu}'

when trying to connect to my Arduino Mega 2560. I'm trying to upload the LED blink example and tried reinstalling Arduino 1.6.3, but the issue persisted.

Any advice?

Answered my own question. You have to open the actual Arduino IDE and set the right board/port number before using Embrio.

Thanks for updating with your solution. That shouldn't be true though, I'll look into why that might have happened.

I tried again to see if it was a fluke and it came out the same way. Embrio was set to Mega 2560 com 3 while the arduino IDE was set for the mini. I gave me the same error, but when I switched the IDE back to Mega 2560 it connected fine.

Yes I'm having the same problem. For anyone else who's having this problem, the workaround for now is to go to C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Embrio\ArduinoCompile and manually upload ArduinoCompile.ino via the Arduino software. I'll have a fix for this in the next update. I've been super busy recently with getting married and moving, but things should get back to normal very soon and there will be more frequent updates again.

Edit: I meant to say the work around is to open the Arduino IDE and select your board and port and close Arduino.

It looks like the newest version of Arduino needs a little more info in the command line call than what I was sending. I'll add this to the next update, but for now please download this pininfo.txt file into C:\Program Files\Embrio, or wherever you installed the software. If that doesn't fix your problem please let me know.
