Bezier Curve

The bezier curve node lets you convert a linear input value into a curved output value. A bezier curve is a curve with a start point, an end point, and two control handles. In this node the start and end points are locked in their X positions. You can control their Y positions and both handles X and Y positions with the node inputs.

A bezier curve node is useful when dealing with a physical device that doesn't have a linear response. For example a distance sensor has a curved input which you can map to a more easy to use linear value. An LED also has a non linear response, if you give an LED a linear value it looks to the eye like the brightness of the LED jumps up very quickly then slowly finishes. Using a bezier curve node lets you give an LED a more linear appearing brightness fade.

See the Bezier Curve node video for more information.
